〜ましょう・〜ませんか
Inviting people — the masu-stem way
Now use the ます-form to invite someone. Drop the ます, then add ましょう (“let’s”) or ませんか (“won’t you?”). Same stem you already know — just a different ending.

ごはんを たべましょう。

“Let’s eat!” — an invitation.
2つの さそいかた
Both start from the ます-stem (the verb minus ます). Tap any sentence to hear it.
“Let’s ~” — you suggest doing something together.
“Won’t you ~? / Shall we ~?” — a softer, polite invitation.
まとめ
🔊 Tap any cell to hear it. Drop ます, add the ending. It works the same for every group — no exceptions here.
