この・その・あの
“this ___” — pointing with a noun
In Unit 2 これ・それ・あれ stood alone (“this / that”). Their partners この・その・あの go right before a noun — この ほん = “this book”. Same distance rule: near me / near you / over there.
この ねこは フジです。
“This cat is Fuji.”
